Dassault's next-generation Falcon 7X will be fitted with engine vibration monitoring
units (EVMUs) from Vibro-Meter SA, a Meggitt PLC company. This contract
marks the second time that Vibro-Meter equipment has been selected
for Dassault Falcon jets. In 2002 PW308C-powered Falcon 2000EXs
began shipping with Vibro-Meter EVMUs. Not only do the predictive
EVMUs contribute to overall engine maintenance, they also provide
fan trim balance that contributes to a smoother ride for passengers.
