Gulfstream to Evaluate Inflight Broadband Service

Gulfstream Aerospace reports it is currently involved in evaluation of a new in-cabin, high-speed broadband multi-link service. Gulfstream will select three to five customers with currently in-service aircraft to participate in this evaluation program. The service promises to offer business jet passengers the newest and fastest Internet connection available on any aircraft presently. Gulfstream customers selected to participate will be the beneficiaries of introductory pricing for equipment and subsequent service. Gulfstream is working with ARINC to launch ARINC SKYlink, the company's newest satellite data link service, offering performance similar to the high-speed Internet connections and corporate networks found in modern offices, Gulfstream says.
