Aircraft Performance Group And Digital Cyclone Join
Wingspeed's XLLink
Wingspeed's XLLink data communications system has taken two new
content providers onboard in the shape of the Aircraft Performance
Group Inc (APG) and Digital Cyclone. Both organizations will now
be able to upload their flight critical applications and services
via the XLLink system and it's "Open Network in the Sky"
partner program. As the name implies, Digital Cyclone is a leader
in providing precise and personalized weather intelligence and
it sees the tie-up with Wingspeed as another important move forward
in getting weather data directly into the cockpit. APG provides
timely flight planning information including runway analysis and
airport data. While APG is well known in the airline world, it's
not such a familiar name in the business flying community and
the hope is that XLLink will change all that.
