Cessna's Simulator Fleet Is Growing, Too;
Eight More to Come
With its Mustang, CJ2 and Sovereign on the horizon (no pun intended),
Cessna will meet the increased demand for customer support through
the addition of eight new simulators, to be provided through Cessna's
long-term partnership with FlightSafety International. FSI is the
official, factory-authorized training organization for Caravan utility
turboprops and all members of the Citation bizjet family. The present
fleet of 44 Cessna simulators-four of them added this year-includes
20 certified to FAA Level D, providing the highest level of realism.
These, and the new equipment, are located at Learning Centers in
Wichita, Orlando, Vero Beach, Atlanta, Columbus, Toledo, San Antonio
and Paris/Le Bourget (France). Since 1980, FSI has provided 100,000
maintenance and pilot training courses for Cessna aircraft.
