Sunny Outlook for Shade Manufacturer

Using a combination of composites and lightweight transparencies, MSA Aircraft Products, Ltd. has introduced a lightweight shade system for business aircraft.

The new Accordia UltraSlim system weighs less than two pounds-10 to 20% lighter than similar systems, according to the company.

Sino-Swearingen's SJ30-2 will feature the UltraSlim, with new versions already under development for the Falcon 900, Gulfstream 200 and other Gulfstream models.

San Antonio-based MSA produces window shades for aircraft ranging from King Airs to the Boeing 737-with more systems under development.

Further information about the MSA product line is available on the convention floor at Booth 1061.
