Mideast Showtime for Rockwell Collins

Rockwell Collins has added Showtime in the Middle East to the programming that the company offers for its Airshow 21 products. It is the first subscriber-based programming to be offered to airborne TV users in the Middle East.

Showtime in the Middle East will be available via Rockwell Collins' Tailwind 550, a newly announced multi-region satellite TV system for air-transport-class business jets and airliners. The service carries 25 TV channels-more than any other network in the Middle East-including many of the world's leading news, sports, financial and entertainment brands. Tailwind 550 customers will also receive a variety of free programming from the NileSat Ku-band satellite.

Tailwind 550 includes a new antenna and other features that improve its performance in bad weather, humidity, or other difficult environmental conditions.
