API Upgrades Part Ordering

Aerospace Products International at Booth 2815 has upgraded its online parts ordering software, adding new features and greater utility for customers.

Users of the API E-Commerce system now have access to multi-line ordering, hazardous materials notification, and the ability to upload text files containing parts numbers and quantities-up to 75 part numbers simultaneously-directly into the system. Other features of the update include instant order tracking capability and access to account receivable information online.

The enhancements add to an already versatile system offering real-time pricing and availability, backordering, drop shipping, complementary and alternate parts numbers and a search engine using either descriptions or partial part numbers.

According to API, the modifications are largely in response to user input and are available immediately on its web site at www.apiparts.com.
