IAE in a Position of Power on Airbus ACJ

More than 70% of Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) customers-and the order book now stands at 30 aircraft-have chosen the IAE V2500 turbofan to power their prized possessions. Operators using the V2500 include DaimlerChrysler, the Venezuelan government, Qatar Airways and Aeroservices of France. The 26,600-pound-thrust V2527-A5M is the quietest engine available for the ACJ and delivers the lowest fuel burn-and thus the best range capability. The intercontinental ACJ can fly 38 first-class passengers nonstop from Singapore to Dubai, or eight passengers from New York to Seoul. Thanks to its airliner heritage, the ACJ can draw on all the ETOPS experience of the in-service Airbus A320 family.
