You Fix Mine and I'll Fix Yours; Honeywell and Pratt to Collaborate

Honeywell and Pratt & Whitney Canada revealed at the convention that they are developing a relationship under which they will act as mutual suppliers and be able to perform component repair on some of each other's engines. These include Honeywell's TPE331 turboprop and TFE731 turbofan and its 36-100 and 36-150 auxiliary power units; and P&WC's PT6 turboprop and JT15D turbofan.

Work will be undertaken at Greer, S.C., and Phoenix, Ariz., on the part of Honeywell, and at Pratt's Aerospace Component Services (ACS) plants at Wichita Falls, Texas; San Diego and St. Hubert, Quebec, Canada.

"We believe this collaboration between our two companies reflects our determination to constantly seek new ways to better serve our customers," said Claude Lachapelle, director of P&WC's ACS.
