Stevens Maintenance Hits the Road

Operators of aircraft grounded by mechanical problems in much of the Rocky Mountain region surrounding Denver can expect faster service thanks to the new Stevens Aviation Maintenance Mobile (SAMM)-a van outfitted to handle repairs in the field.

According to Stevens Aviation Denver, the vehicle will respond to AOG with parts, tools and technicians to nearby points in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Utah. Ideally, technicians will repair the aircraft and put it back into service. If more extensive work is required, they will prepare the aircraft for ferry to the company's BJC facility in Denver.
Stevens says SAMM service is available 24/7.
