"We Do Lear Here" Says Midcoast

From its base at Perryville, Mo., Midcoast Aviation has come to the 55th convention to advertise its services to corporate Learjet operators. "We want every Lear operator to know we do Lear here," says Jack Vaughan, vp of corporate aviation marketing for Sabreliner Corp., Midcoast's parent company.

Midcoast is launching its publicity offensive on the solid background of its experience as a provider of 12,000-hour inspections of U.S. Air Force C-21A (alias Learjet 35A) communications aircraft. It has added key staff, has trained technicians and has acquired tooling to meet the needs of business users.

"The 'one-stop shop' is the dream of every Lear operator I know," says Tony Koprivnik, Midcoast's Learjet program manager. "I'm excited to be on the team that can deliver that dream."

Types on the company's repair station certificate are Learjet 20-series, 30 and 55.
