Dassault Flies Falcon Jet Cockpit of the Future
Dassault test pilots Jean-Louis Dumas and Phillippe Deleume had an EASy first flight.

Dassault Falcon Jet's cockpit of the future for business aircraft made its first flight on Feb. 22 in a Falcon 900EX long range executive jet.

The fully integrated EASy flight deck is built on Honeywell's Primus Epic avionics. Its four-screen display is aimed to improve safety by making pilots more situationally aware and reducing the workload in the cockpit.

The EASy flight deck has been in development for several years. Plans call for certification this year, and first deliveries in the first quarter of 2003. It will be available first on the Falcon 900EX, followed by the Falcon 2000EX in 2004 and the new very high speed, long-range Falcon 7X in 2006.

Dassault Aviation is exhibiting here at FIDAE in Hall B, Booth 67.
