T-50 Trainer Stakes Supersonic Claim

Lockheed Martin and Korea Aerospace Industries are introducing their T-50 advanced trainer to the Latin American market here at FIDAE 2002 (Hall G, Booth G 1-2). Four test aircraft are now complete, and the first will fly this summer. The Republic of Korea air force plans to buy 94 of what will be (for at least the next few years) the world's only supersonic trainer in series production.
