Embraer Corporate Jets Wins Fadesa Order

Embraer announced at EBACE that Spain's real estate giant, Fadesa, has placed an order for its super mid-size Legacy business jet.

"We were looking for a larger aircraft" explained Jose Luis Macia, Fadesa financial director. "Our main criteria were reliability, cabin volume and value. The Legacy very quickly became the best, that is to say, the only choice."

The Legacy will replace a Hawker 700 that Fadesa is currently operating. The aircraft will be based at the company's corporate headquarters in La Coruna.

The first European customer, Zurich-based GV Executive AG, will take delivery of its Legacy in June.

The Legacy order book now stands at 74 firm orders and 94 options.
