Bombardier has brought four aircraft to its first EBACE show, and
is talking up its "solid sales performance" in Europe.
The Canadian-based company reports sale of some 125 business aircraft
here over the past five years, during which time it's doubled its
delivery market share from 14% to nearly 30%.
Bombardier's EBACE debut includes:
- a pre-owned Learjet 31A, which sells new at $6.6 million. It
is a light jet capable of accessing short airfields, with strong
climb performance and a four-passenger range of 1,447 nmi;
- a Learjet 45, a $9.85 million, eight-to-nine passenger jet
with a range of 2,102 nmi with four passengers;
- a Learjet 60, a $12.45 million midsize airplane with four-passenger
range of 2,496 nmi; and
- a Challenger 604, a $23.85 million intercontinental business
jet with four-passenger range of 4,077 nmi, now available with
the "PrecisionPlus" avionics upgrade, an optional enhanced
auto-throttle system, and a new interior.
Bombardier is also promoting its Flexjet Europe/ Jet Membership
program, which seeks to combine the advantages of fractional ownership
and charter, assuring customers of aircraft anytime, at 24-hours
notice, with no ownership obligations. The program, launched earlier
this year, was this month enhanced to allows customers to keep their
aircraft with them on long trips involving layovers.
