The GV-SP Is Ready to Paint

The first production Gulfstream V-SP goes into the paint shop at the manufacturer's Savannah plant this week, Gulfstream president and COO Bill Boisture said here. The GV-SP test article that was rolled-out in August 2001 was based on a modified GV airframe. Gulfstream holds orders for more than 40 GV-SPs and expects to make initial deliveries in the first quarter 2003, following FAA certification before year-end.
