EBACE 2002: The Numbers Are Up
This year's EBACE show features 220 exhibiting companies as compared
to last year's 190, talking up 537 booth spaces (up 14% from 2001),
organizers said Sunday.
There are more than 35 aircraft on the static line, and advance
delegate registrations are up "significantly."
EBACE is billed as "the only European exhibition of its kind
to focus totally on business aviation."
This year EBACE's conference features informational sessions aimed
at addressing the issues of European-based aircraft operators, of
operators flying to Europe, and of non-operators who can benefit
from the use of aircraft for business.
- Information sessions will cover:
- Current and future Eurocontrol requirements;
- The future of aviation regulations in Europe;
- Security requirements for business aviation;
- International Standards for Business Aviation Operators (IS-BAO);
- Operational and regulatory issues for international corporate
flights;
- European Union and worldwide noise and environmental regulations;
- Human factors considerations in long-range operations;
- Rotary-wing components in the flight department;
- Social and cultural nuances for international business aviation
professionals;
- Integration of business aviation options; and
- Integration of fractional ownership.
EBACE 2002 will also include a pair of networking sessions-the
Tuesday evening reception and the EBACE Second Annual Awards Reception
& Banquet on Wednesday -- as well as Maintenance & Operations
sessions covering OEMs and component manufacturers. The MRO sessions
will cover Bombardier, Cessna, Gulfstream, Honeywell, Pratt &
Whitney, Raytheon, and Rockwell Collins.
