EBACE Beats Farnborough
In at Least Two Bizjet Books
EBACE has won a vote of confidence from two major business
jet manufacturers who have chosen the Geneva show instead of going
to Farnborough this year.
Both Boeing Business Jets and Raytheon Aircraft have decided to
focus their European effort here this year at a show dedicated
to business aviation.
"We're really concentrating on this show and not attending
Farnborough," Raytheon spokes-man Tim Travis told Show News.
"It's a case of allocating resources."
Boeing Business Jets will have a minor presence at Farnborough
in the Boeing conglomerate, but will not exhibit by itself. Last
Farnborough it showed a BBJ.
Raytheon Aircraft has come to EBACE with a fleet of business aircraft
including the Premier I (over 25 have been delivered), the Hawker
800XP with Pro Line 21 avionics, a Beechjet, an executive Beech
1900D and a King Air 350.
At least three BBJs are expected at the show, including Boeing's
demonstrator, a freshly completed BBJ for sale by Jet Aviation,
and one of Privatair's fleet of three.
