Surviving the Charter Jungle
The UK's Twinjet Aircraft has put together its accumulated 20
years of corporate charter expertise in its free Charter Survival
Guide. The guide is principally, but not exclusively, aimed
at first time charterers, and leads them through each step of
the sometimes daunting process of chartering a business aircraft.
Twinjet has recognized that in order for a company to respond
rapidly to the demands of international commerce, it is now fundamental
that senior management has, usually via PAs or executive secretaries,
easy access to a reliable and comprehensive aircraft charter service.
The Charter Survival Guide aims to help the charterer make
an informed choice, from selecting an aircraft broker or operator,
choosing an aircraft and booking a charter to taking the flight
itself. It examines the reasons why chartering an aircraft is
a viable option for business travel instead of using commercial
airlines, looks at the different roles of the aircraft operator
and the charter broker and at the differences between them. The
guide also provides a list of essential questions that charterers
should ask their broker, and includes vital information that a
good broker should provide the charterer.
Twinjet, based at London-Luton Airport, provides VIP aircraft
for corporate charters, roadshows, product launches and private
travel. It operates an Airbus Corporate Jetliner and a Challenger
604. To obtain a free copy of the Charter Survival Guide,
