Europe Next for TAG Fuel Plan

Eurovision: Jake Cartwright,
CEO of TAG U.S.

TAG U.S. and Houston-based Air Routing International have kicked off an Internet-based fuel-buying program aimed at making sure "that TAG Aviation will always be purchasing fuel at negotiated, discount prices for all their customer aircraft"

"Our fuel purchases are estimated to be over 13 million gallons in 2002," said TAG U.S. CEO Jake Cartwright. "We pass on the savings" to customers, he told Show News, noting that one pilot was able to save an astonishing $1.64 per gallon by using the service for a recent fill-up.

TAGFuel is headquartered in Houston, directed by Kim Ratcliff. The company is working to make the program fully functional in Europe as well as the U.S., Cartwright says.

In other recent news, TAG U.S. said earlier this month that it's branching its charter sales to the Chicago area, naming Barry Gray to head Midwest market development efforts.
