No Vacuum for Continuum Avionics
as Eighth Bizjet Added to Retrofit List

Fully integrated Pro Line 21 Continuum avionics are certified on the Falcon 20.

The Challenger 601, Falcon 20 and Falcon 50 bring to three the number of bizjet models that can be retrofitted with a full Continuum glass cockpit. "Replacing previous generation cockpits with what you expect in brand new off-the-line aircraft has gone over very well," said Evans. The first Challenger 601 with full retrofit is Collins' own executive aircraft.

"We did it for our CEO, showed it to a potential customer and they wanted to buy it on the spot," said Wu. Standalone elements of the Pro Line 21 avionics range are certified for retrofit in the Citation III, Gulfstream II/IIb and III and Challenger 600 aircraft. Operators can choose integrated or individual products, including LCD displays, data communications, and advanced flight management and hazard warning capabilities.
