Sovereign to Satisfy JAA and FAA

Cessna's new Citation Sovereign is the first of the company's products designed from the outset to meet both European JAA and U.S. FAA requirements during its initial certification, the company says. It's also to be RVSM compliant.

The up-to-13-passenger Sovereign made its first flight in February and has since logged more than 70 flight hours.

Sovereign certification is slated for late next year.
