Swiss GV Operator Clocks Up 5,000 hours

Zurich-based charter operator G5 Executive AG logged 5,000 flight hours in less than four years on its Gulfstream V, s/n 517, which was delivered on May 5, 1998.

"The Gulfstream V has exceeded our high expectations in daily, worldwide operations," said GV Executive chairman and CEO, Peter Fried. "This business jet is everything it is advertised to be."
The GV logged the 5,000 hours with only 1,189 landings, for an average flight duration of 4.2 hours.
The worldwide GV in-service fleet totals 146. By year-end 200 aircraft will have been delivered. Total fleet time stands at 160,000 hours, with 74 aircraft having logged more than 1,000 hours and 18 totaling more than 2,000 hours. Dispatch reliability stands at 99.3%.
