Don't Like that Long Order List?
Have We Got a BBJ for You
For Sale: Brand new BBJ, low mileage, new upholstery. Must be
seen to be believed. Available April 15. Asking $54.5 million.
It's not often that exhibitors come to a show with an airplane
to take away, but that's almost the case with Jet Aviation (Booth
A405) which is helping Flight Center of Boeing Field, Seattle,
sell its brand new BBJ.
"We bought the BBJ green and it is being completed by Jet
Aviation at Basel," Flight Center principal Ned Landers told
Show News here at Asian Aerospace. "But circumstances changed,
so we're putting it up for sale."
The green aircraft is now white, ready for the next customer to
apply his or her own trim. And hangar rent is due from the middle
of April, when, as far as Jet Aviation is concerned, the completion
is completed.
The BBJ is configured for 19 passengers. The four-compartment
interior includes lounge with guest lav, office with conference
table, and bedroom with queen-size bed, hang-up closet and shower.
Interior woodwork is California white oak; fabrics and leathers
are finished in light and medium color earth tones; and all metal
hardware and trim is finished in brushed satin silver.
The aircraft received press coverage last year when Flight Center
became the first customer to ask Jet Aviation to fit a complete
plywood mockup interior before deciding on its final cabin configuration.
