Jet Aviation Increases Far Eastern Reach

Switzerland's Jet Aviation is trumpeting its second Far Eastern aircraft management and support facility, with Hong Kong following on from its original site in Singapore. At the same time, the company has been granted permission by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) and the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) to provide full maintenance support for Citation 550 and 650 aircraft in China, and Hong Kong-registered Global Express aircraft.

The new Jet Aviation Hong Kong facility has applied to offer aircraft charters across the region, and as soon as permission is issued will have a Global Express available for hire. Jet Aviation has been working on the CAD and CAAC approval process for several years, and hopes that its Global Express authorization will soon be extended to non-Hong Kong-registered aircraft.
