EADS Launches Partnership Initiative With Honeywell

EADS will disclose today the first of a new series of "partnership competitions" when it signs the MoU for an exclusive sourcing agreement with Honeywell. EADS aims to agree a set of cost-saving conditions with its suppliers, who will in turn win the right to supply equipment to all EADS business divisions. Honeywell is the first to be awarded this special status, and EADS hopes to achieve synergies of up to 400 euros million by 2004.
