Vietnam Airlines has chosen Pratt & Whitney PW4084D engines for a trio of extended-range Boeing 777-200s. Boeing will deliver one aircraft per year to the carrier, starting in August 2003. The aircraft will fly non-stop from Ho Chi Minh City to the Americas and Europe, and will serve Asia routes as well.
