Volvo Aero Services Joins Boeing's ODAR Team

Seattle-based Volvo Aero Services LLC has received an ODAR (organizational designated airworthiness representative) designation from the US FAA, under an extension from Boeing's Production Approval Holding organization. Volvo Aero Services is now authorized to sign supplemental export 8130-3 forms on behalf of Boeing ­ certifying that new or overhauled aircraft parts meet FAA standards, and that maintenance work carried out met FAA airworthiness regulations.
