Nordam Opens New Facility in Singapore

Nordam Singapore Pte Ltd (NSPL) is hosting the grand opening of its new repair and overhaul facility here on Wednesday. A subsidiary of the Nordam Group, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, NSPL focuses on overhaul and repair of such aircraft components as flight control surfaces and fan reversers.

The new NSPL facility here is twice as large as the company's previous base, and includes a large autoclave and a clean room. "Already a center of choice for aircraft fan reverser and flight control surface repair and overhaul, the new Singapore facility provides a great opportunity to expand our capabilities," commented Dick Clark, president of Nordam's repair division.

NSPL has also launched a managed maintenance program for engine nacelle service, including standard pricing, on-wing inspections and on-wing support. Other highlights of the program include technical services such as risk assessment and preventative maintenance.
