Chinese Airlines Add Eight Cessna Caravans

Cessna's hard-working multi-purpose utility aircraft, the Caravan, has found renewed favor with two Chinese airlines. Shandong Airlines, based in Jinan, has just taken delivery of three Cessna Caravan Amphibians and one Grand Caravan aircraft-with a fifth Amphibian due for delivery in March.

Elsewhere Shenyang-based China Northern Airlines will expand its existing Caravan fleet to five, when two additional Grand Caravans are handed over later this year. China Northern uses its aircraft for agricultural support and passenger flights.
