Contracts for CASA CN-235

EADS has disclosed new sales of CASA CN-235s. The French Ministry of Defense signed a contract for five aircraft: two to be delivered by June 2002 and three within a year. 15 CN-235 aircraft have been operating since 1990. EADS has also announced the acquisition of eight C-295 aircraft by Poland and two C-212 aircraft (with options for six additional) configured for Fully Integrated tactical Systems for the Mexican Navy.
