Piaggio Order Book at 260 Million Euros
Piaggio says its order book stands at 260 million euros ($221 million) extending out for the next three years. The company will make 18 P180 aircraft this year with revenue amounting to 93.6 million euros ($79.6 million). That is up from eight aircraft in 2000. The production of P180s for the first two months of next year is fully booked to new customers.

Also at Paris, Piaggio announced the appointment of Sloane Aviation as its P180 corporate aircraft sales agent for the U.K. and Ireland. Sloane Sales Director Mike Creed confirmed that his company had booked its first P180 order at the show.
