Lufthansa Technik Makes BBJ TV Spoiled for Choice
A new integrated satcom and direct broadcast satellite antenna
installation for the Boeing Business Jet will give passengers
an in-flight choice of up to 400 TV channels worldwide. Dubbed
the "Two-In-One Solution" (or TIOS), by manufacturer
Lufthansa Technik, the new super-lightweight aerials have been
certified by the German authorities on behalf of the European
JAA, and have also been endorsed by the FAA in the U.S. Lufthansa
Technik's TIOS is the first such system to be approved for the
BBJ.
