Barnes Installs Trumpf Lasercell
Barnes Aerospace Fabrications Division will install a Trumpf Lasercell
1005 in the third quarter. The Trumpf Lasercell 1005 is a five-axis,
high-precision system for complex three-dimensional formed contours.
It performs laser welding, improves access to weld locations and
offers a high range of joining geometry. A number of "extremely
demanding" product configurations will be built by the new
equipment, the company says.
