Honeywell Gets TBM 700 Deal
Honeywell will supply the vapor-cycle cooling system for Socata's
TBM 700 single-engine turboprop. The contract should earn Honeywell
$20 million over the next decade. The system is a hybrid vapor-cycle
system and environmental control system which switches in flight
from using engine bleed air to closed-loop refrigerant.
