Malta Gets New ATC Center
The Maltese government has officially put into service a new air traffic control center at Malta's international airport. The Alenia Marconi system was in operation for six months to get the government's nod. The system is designed to allow controllers in Malta to have fully redundant service in the eastern sector of the Malta Flight Information Region.
