Elta Markets SAR Payload
Israel Aircraft Industries' Elta division is promoting its EL/M-2055
synthetic aperture radar, ground moving target indicator reconnaissance
payload to be used on unmanned surveillance aircraft. The entire
system includes a radar sensor, signal processor and ground exploitation
system. It is being aimed at medium and high-altitude unmanned
aerial vehicles and is capable of a strip-map mode and SAR spot
mode for imaging.
