Atlantic Airways Ltd took delivery of a Bell Helicopter Textron
412EP configured for search and rescue on March 5, 2001. Atlantic
Airways was given a ten-year contract for SAR and fishery patrol
services by the Faroe Parliament, taking over responsibility for
the task from the Danish Navy.
