F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet to Get Enhanced FLIR Weapons Targeting
System
Raytheon's Terminator forward-looking infrared targeting system
was test flown on Boeing's F-15E1 test aircraft in May, proving
its enhanced imagery and aiming accuracy to company officials.
Terminator has integral cooling, freeing it from dependence upon
the aircraft's equipment cooling system.
