OLOG Inks Four Orders, Eight Options for 412EP Helos
Offshore Logistics, a large petroleum industry services provider,
signed a contract for up to 12 Bell Helicopter Textron 412EP twin-turbine
helicopters, potentially worth more than $60 million. With seating
for up to 13 passengers, the 412EP is well suited to moving staff
and equipment to offshore oil platforms. The aircraft's nearly
two and one-half ton useful load enables it to carry more freight
than any twin-turbine helicopter priced under $10-million.
