Volvo Rolls on A380
Volvo Aero announced plans to join Rolls-Royce as a risk-sharing
partner in the development of the Trent 900 engine for the Airbus
A380 and Trent 500 for the A340-600. Volvo is the first company
that has joined R-R in a risk-sharing venture. Virgin Atlantic
Airways, Singapore Airlines and Qantas Airways have already selected
the Trent for their A380s.
