Barnes Introduces Sutton Core Process
Barnes Aviation introduced its patented Sutton Core Process, a
multi-step process using superplastic and bonding characteristics
of titanium, producing parts that enclose reinforcing grids or
honeycomb patterns that have no material weak points and seamless
intersections. With Sutton Core, both interior and exterior component
surfaces can be precision-controlled to design specifications.
