Honeywell 139-9[B] Notches Three Years' Service on SWA 737-700s
Southwest Airlines has completed three years of revenue service
with the Honeywell 139-9[B] aboard its Boeing 737-700 transports
without a single unscheduled removal. Since 1998, SWA has added
92 737-700s to its fleet, and the aircraft's 131-9[B] APUs have
logged more than 320,000 hours total service. SWA has orders and
options for up to 365 737-700s on the books. The 850+ Honeywell
139-9[B] APUs in service worldwide have accumulated more than
2.2 million operating hours.
