Rolls Rocks on Airbus
More than half the Airbuses delivered next year will be powered
by Rolls-Royce-53% to be exact, according to the British aero
engine company. It claims to have taken 40% of the A330 market
with its Trent 700, the whole of the A340-500/600 market with
the Trent 500 (the aircraft is offered with only that engine),
and more than half the narrowbody A319/320/321 market with the
V2500 turbofan, on which it is a major partner.
