  T800-LHT-801 Two First Flights
June 6, a Boeing-Sikorsky RAH-66 powered by LHTEC T800-LHT-801 turboshaft engines made its first flight from Sikorsky's Palm Beach, Florida facility. Westland's Super Lynx 300 demonstrator, fitted with T800-LHT-801 engines, also made its first flight. LHTEC, short for Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company, is a joint venture of Rolls-Royce and Honeywell.
