  If There's Noise, There's Fire
Aerospace Industries Association of America warns it will vigorously oppose any move by Europe to draw up unilateral rules for phasing out Stage 3 aircraft ahead of new rules for Stage 4. It would be "hypersensitive," AIA says, if the EU tried this way to resurrect a proposed ban on hushkitted airliners which discriminates heavily against U.S.-made aircraft.
