Corning Receives Corporate Angel Award

Chevron Aviation and Business and Commercial Aviation Magazine (B/CA) are presenting Corning with the 2001 Corporate Angel Award.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Corporate Angel Network was created by Chevron to recognize participating corporations who provide empty seats to cancer patients for transport to treatment centers nationwide.

Corning is being recognized for more that 1,500 missions it has flown on behalf of the cancer patients. Since 1981, the Corporate Angel Network has partnered with American companies to arrange approximately 14,000 free seats to patients flying on routine business aircraft trips.
