Premier Turbines Adds TFE Skills

Premier Turbines has consolidated Rolls-Royce Model 250 work at Neosho, Missouri, and expanded field service and maintenance capabilities, according to company vice president and general manager Jim Robertson.

To augment those operations, the company continues to maintain Model 250 component maintenance at locations in San Diego, California., and Independence, Kansas.

At the same time, Premier Turbines is expanding its TFE731 MPI capabilities in light of a two-year, $300,000 effort that quadrupled shop-floor space at its St. Louis Downtown Airport operations.

The expansion will let the company expand in-house TFE731 MPI inspection and maintenance capabilities by adding more equipment, according to Mark Berg, manager of the engine shop. "Additional equipment will diminish our reliance on outside suppliers," he said.
