Shell, Avfuel Launch Global

A global alliance between Shell Aviation and Avfuel Corp. that effectively doubles fueling location choices and simplifies fuel payments took effect on Novenber 1.

Business jet pilots, commercial airlines and private fliers can now use their Shell Aviation Carnet or Avfuel cards at over 1,400 fueling locations worldwide.

The reciprocal agreement allows both cards to be used across each company's networks, providing a seamless invoicing and payment system for both Avfuel and Shell customers.

Avfuel's established U.S. nationwide coverage, combined with Shell Aviation's extensive worldwide network, provides customers with a global solution which is particularly significant for the business jet market, 70% of which is based in the U.S.

Avfuel (Booth 6440) recently boosted its U.S. presence with the purchase of Texaco's GA fueling businesses in 14 states.
