Inmarsat Demos Satcom Network

On Wednesday, December 12th at 3:00 p.m., David Featherstone, Inmarsat's aeronautical operations manager, will discuss the capabilities of the company's Swift64 system, in room 383, on the convention center's third floor.

The Inmarsat 64Kbps system allows passengers to access e-mail and the Internet, and when combined with other avionic systems has the capability of providing up to 128 Kbps.

Existing systems, such as Teledyne Control's Magnastar C-2000 and EMS Technologies ADT-1000 HSD terminals have been designed to integrate with the Swift64 with only minor wiring modifications.
In addition, Teledyne Controls has entered into an agreement with EMS Technologies to provide integration support for the Magnastar/ADT-1000 system.

Inmarsat owns and operates a global satellite network and distributes systems solutions to users in more than 150 countries. For more information visit Inmarsat at booth 6657, Teledyne Controls at booth 7840, or EMS Technologies at booth 8820.
